The Family Cabin
This classic “little log house” was built in 1927, and was the original living quarters while the main lodge was built. Tucked in the trees near the lodge, the master bedroom has one of the best views of all buildings. While in bed, you can watch the fog roll through the heavily treed Belknap Ridge and you can hear the river in the distance. The porch invites you out for coffee and to watch the morning unfold.
This house is the closest to the wedding reception area and is susceptible to loud sounds of laughing, dancing, and other merriment.
1 Bedroom with queen bed and a loft with 2 additional queen beds, full kitchen, one shared full bath. Wood-burning stone fireplace and electric heating. No AC but the delicious cold tap water will cool you down.

“We visited Loloma Lodge during a couple of hot days in July and stayed in the very charming Family Cabin. This was our third visit to Loloma. The first two visits when we were a smaller party, we stayed in the Riverside Cabins, which were also super cozy and cute. We were 3 adults and 2 kids and we were all very comfortable in the Family Cabin. The bohemian vintage decor, funky artwork, curated books, toiletries, and comfy bedding were the perfect aesthetic mix with the log cabin and lush, magical mossy green-ness of all of the outdoor surroundings. The cabin stayed cool inside even though outside was 100 degrees. We chose to eat at the local restaurants for most of our meals, and even had a fun potluck dinner out in the common area with some of the other fun guests. We loved the fresh eggs from the resident free range chickens. We also enjoyed exploring the magical property and hiking and mountain biking the nearby trails. The owners and caretakers were super friendly and very accommodating always ensuring that we had all we needed. I can't wait until we have another couple of days to go back and visit again. I would highly recommend!!”
